We are looking for an experienced Head of IT who wants to take full ownership of the IT department in our organization. If you are a person with strong experience in IT management with a good background in maintaining complex IT Infrastructure and systems, who likes to operate in a dynamic environment focused on achieving goals in line with business needs and budget constraints - apply!

Main responsibilities:

• Providing effective leadership and management of the IT department (Software Development, IT Infrastructure, Data and Support teams)
• Setting objectives and strategies for IT department
• Directing and organizing IT-related projects
• IT budget planning, monitoring and implementation
• Ensuring adequate level of IT systems’ security and business continuity
• Coordination and liaison with business stakeholders in terms of projects, scheduled activities and crisis management
• Developing and maintaining IT policies & procedures
• Vendor management

Requirements:

• At least 8+ years of experience in the IT area (3+ years in management role)
• Proficiency in managing IT processes and services
• Good understanding of technology and architecture standards
• Broad technical expertise of IT infrastructure (incl. cloud), networking, business applications and IT security
• Strong ability to manage combination of internally and externally sourced team members
• Strong stakeholders and external suppliers' management expertise
• Analytical mindset to identify opportunities for service improvements
• Effective management skills, including hands-on experience with Agile methodology and SCRUM framework
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Master’s degree in computer science
• Excellent knowledge of English and Polish language

Nice to have:

• Logistic company or e-commerce experience is a plus
• Experience with managing software development projects
